Chiropractic Adjustment

Chiropractic adjustments are hands-on manual techniques that apply controlled forces to a joint to influence joint motion. A gentle adjustment may be selected when your assessment identifies reduced, painful, or otherwise limited movement that may be contributing to your symptoms or affecting how you move.

Evidence suggests that spinal manipulation can improve pain and function for some people with low-back and neck pain, although the certainty of evidence varies by condition and outcome.

At Full Circle, adjustments are not a stand-alone solution. They are integrated with movement assessment, soft tissue therapy, and exercise when appropriate, using the combination of tools that best fits your presentation, goals, and response to care.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy uses hands-on techniques to work with muscles and other soft tissues that may be contributing to pain, sensitivity, stiffness, or limited movement. Depending on what we find during your assessment, care may include manual techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), cupping, or other appropriate hands-on approaches.

These techniques can be used to help reduce symptoms, improve comfort with movement, and create a better starting point for the work that follows. Your treatment is individualized based on what you’re experiencing, how you move, and what you’re working toward.

At Full Circle, soft tissue therapy is one part of the bigger picture. When appropriate, we pair hands-on care with chiropractic adjustment, movement, and progressive exercise to help you move better and build the strength, control, and capacity your life requires from your body.

Functional Exercise

Functional exercise is purposeful movement designed around what your body needs to do, not just how an exercise looks in a gym.

We use movement and exercise to build strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and control while gradually preparing your body for the activities that matter to you. That might mean getting up and down from the floor, lifting and carrying groceries, climbing stairs, getting the baby in and out of a car, reaching overhead, or keeping up with the demands of everyday life.

Your exercises are selected and progressed based on your current abilities, goals, and response to movement. As you improve, we adjust the challenge to continue building capacity while keeping the focus on what you’re working toward.

At Full Circle, exercise is not an afterthought. It’s part of helping you turn better movement into greater capacity, so the changes you make during your visits can carry over into real life.
